I’ve forgotten to post for a couple days now – sorry about that, I’ve been busy. School has started in earnest and we have our project! And it is awesome!

But before going into detail about that, for it is worthy of its own post separate from this catch-up post, I shall first insert my activities of the past few days. This will not amount to all that much, but due to one night spent in a very empty Vic Bar, I wound up with some really cool photos. The lack of dancing

encouraged me to seek other forms of entertainment, and this I found in my exposure settings.

Wednesday night at Vic Bar they decided to charge cover – even on the art students! bad idea. No one came. I convinced them to let us (me and co.) in @ half price. This was before I realized how many (few) people were actually coming. I probably could have bargained better. Ah well,  I had fun anyway.

There was also a checkered floor, and Becky's legs.

I wound up taking upwards of twenty shots of Becky’s legs. She was actually standing quite still most of the time, though you would never know from my pictures. I seemed quite intent on the illusion of motion.

Becky, standing still. Zann: *waves camera wildly*

The lighting was cool, too.

The band, at least, gave me some cool moving-person photos.

All is a blur!!

And Becky continued to provide me with cool "moving background" photos.

Then I started taking pictures through my beer. This was quite fun, and lent a unique orangey firey look to the photos that I have never really achieved before (or since, but I haven’t tried, since).

Now if I hadn’t told you what this is…

But then, what isn't, in candle light?

Beer is…
remarkably photogenic, actually.

Chilled? It looks like its on fire.

Earlier in the day, we also had the rest of our workshop inductions.

Here is a glimpse of the Product Design and PDEngineering workshops:
